"Hi folks, I am sorry I haven't been in touch lately, but I have a pretty good excuse .I have really been feeling bad for the last few weeks . I have had a bad case of what the docker called Cronic areathoreitice. The pain was bad & I could not walk at times, But it is all over now.
We are making plans to come to Burington on May 5th,which is a Saturday. I have been watching the publications, but have not seen the first thing yet. It might be a little early. If you all see anything different please let me know. As the time approachs I plan to send out some reminders. I have heard from about 15 T-craft owners who say the are making plans to come. There are 2 T=Crafts & one C170 planing to come from here & I assume you will be going. If the weather is good we should gave a pretty good turn out." ..........Tom Pittman

"Hi Tom, it was good to hear from you. I was just getting ready to send you an e-mail to see if you knew how many planes would be attending the May fly-in. Ffifteen sounds like a good number. I will tell Susan so she will know how many to expect. I told Ken Matthews, Roger Dodson, and Wayne Swaney so they may come also as well as myself. There will be a BBQ on the field at 6 p.m. Friday and also food on the field Saturday noon. Camping will be available but no hook-ups. The Ramada Inn in Burlington will be the primary hotel. Shuttle transportation will be available between the field and hotel. Rooms reserved under VAA Chapter 3 at $55 plus tax. Awards banquet will be Saturday night at the Ramada at 6 p.m. for drinks and dinner at 7 p.m. Aircrafts must be on the field from l2 noon to 3 p.m. if they are to be judged. The phone number for the motel is 336-227-5541. I'm looking forward to spring. We have had some cold weather here for the last several weeks and it has been cold and rainy today but no snow."......... DAVID BYRD
