TWO YEAR SEARCH ENDS

John Fields reports spending nearly two years searching for a pre-war Taylorcraft.

N36475, a 1941 BC-12-65, was delivered on Feb. 6th 2005 by the previous owner who flew the plane to Meadowbrook Field at Walnut Cove, NC.

N36475 was finished about a month and one-half before Pearl Harbor on October 26, 1941. It was rebuilt in 1996 and has accumulated low hours on it since then; the rebuild included the airframe and engine.

"Its longest x-country has been to JAARS area where am currently working as a volunteer while my son attends high school. It flys good and I have found that I prefer to wheel land it rather than do an initial stall landing- no instruction intended- just my personal preference.
Take care, happy flying." John Fields
